On Thursday we were delighted to welcome Dominic- Woody- McKinley- to our school — a hurling coach from Gaelfast who shared his expertise with our students. The children thoroughly enjoyed the coaching sessions, learning new skills and improving their techniques. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and energy.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks Woody for taking the time to visit and inspire our pupils. We look forward to building on what we’ve learned and continuing to develop our love of hurling here at the school.
A big thank you to all the pupils, staff and families who made this year’s Sports Day such a wonderful event!

We worked with the illustrator and author, Ashwin Chacko, to learn about empathy in books. Thank you to Libraries NI for a brilliant workshop.
We were delighted to welcome Caoimhe from Forest School NI to our school for an exciting outdoor learning experience. The visit provided our pupils with a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, develop practical skills, and build confidence through hands-on activities in the natural environment.
During the session, the children took part in team-building challenges and creative tasks such as den building, natural art, and fire lighting (under supervision). The experience encouraged curiosity, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
A huge thank you to the Forest School NI team for an inspiring and memorable day!
