Have a look at what's happening in our school.
On Sunday the 14th May and 21st we came together as a community to celebrate Holy Communion and Confirmation. Nyree in P4 and Cailyn in P7 were joined in the church by many of their school friends, family, staff and the wider community. We congratulate both as they received their sacrament in the presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
Today, pupils joined the RHA and members of the Tuesday club to discuss the new housing development on the Island. They had a tour of the site from Lowry Construction and worked with the Tuesday Club to design welcome decorations for the houses.
This week the older pupils have been busy with their gymnastics and hurling activities in PE. In gymnastics, the pupils were continuing to focus on rolls- the egg roll and the forward roll. In hurling they have been working on striking the ball with the two hands close together at the top of the hurl. The younger pupils will commence hurling next week- Monday. We encourage pupils to practise all their PE skills at home.
Today, we re-introduced the pupils to the 'Fresh Little Minds' project. Pupils met Amber, our special friend, who helps us to think about our feelings and how to express them. Please see the letter to parents which explains the project in more detail.
