Have a look at what's happening in our school.
Today school was filled with fun, creativity, and spooky excitement as we celebrated Halloween Students and teachers came dressed in a wonderful variety of costumes—from music stars and to friendly ghosts and playful monsters. We even had a wicked witch who turned Miss Bakewell into a frog. Oíche Shamhna shona duit! See you all for the PTA Halloween event on 1st November.
Please see information from Shauna Kelly, founder of Supporting Sparks — a Positive Behaviour Support and Wellbeing initiative based in Ballycastle- regarding upcoming workshops for children over the Halloween break.
Thank you to Beverley and Adrian from University of Ulster who visited us today. Using LEGO bricks, we got to explore engineering building challenges and team projects in the morning. In the afternoon we worked alongside the Tuesday club for an intergenerational project on ‘memories of our childhood’- pupils recreated the adults’ memories using lego.
Please come and join us for a Halloween themed fun day organised by our PTA.
Please see the leaflet for those who may be interested in a coding club.
On Friday, we enjoyed our first ‘Forest School Friday’ session. We make tea outside using our campfire skills and had to think of all the safety aspects of making a fire in the forest. Thank you to Tania for all her help and providing the fire pit.
