Pupils had their annual end of year trip on Wednesday 21st June. We travelled to ‘Leisure World’ in Redcastle Co. Donegal where pupils could have a go on a variety of activities including dodgem cars, hovercraft and soft play arena. We would like to thank Stephen, John and Ruth from the Rural Housing Association who paid for and facilitated the hire of the coach from Ballycastle to Redcastle and to Rathlin Ferry company who provided free ferry transport on the Kintra for everyone on this trip. A great day, with lots of memories, was had by all.

Today we celebrated our annual sports day. Pupils and parents took part in a range of individual and team events across the day. Highlights included several sliothers being lost in our first ever Poc Fada event- by our parents. Pupils were treated to ice creams by our local co-op shop. Thank you also to Boyles spar for sponsoring the banner and new equipment also.

On Wednesday 7th June, we visited the beach to complete some artwork based on the artist Andy Goldsworthy. He’s known for his use of natural materials and exploring themes like the passing of time. Throughout his life, he’s made artwork and sculptures from natural resources. He’s won several awards and is a prominent figure in the world of environmental art.
