Have a look at what's happening in our school.
It was with great shock and sadness that we learnt of the death of our colleague and friend, Mary Currie, on Saturday 25th April. Mary was much respected among the staff, pupils and wider school community and we are all deeply saddened at her passing. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis!
Our P6/7 pupils recently took part in a fantastic Cumann na mBunscol Skills Day in Dunloy today. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to develop their hurling skills in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Throughout the day, pupils participated in a range of activities designed to improve their striking, ground hurling skills and teamwork. They showed great enthusiasm, determination, and sportsmanship, and it was brilliant to see everyone getting involved and encouraging one another.
A big thank you to the organisers and the coaches from Gaelfast for delivering such an enjoyable event. Our pupils represented the school brilliantly and should be very proud of their efforts. Maith thú!
Well done to our pupils who ran so bravely as part of the Cumann na mBunscol cross country run in Limepark. Despite the challenging conditions of wind and rain, both completed the course. Maith thú!
In the morning. we were delighted to welcome Danny from Community Sports Network to our school. During his visit, Danny worked with our pupils to promote the importance of physical activity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The sessions were engaging, inclusive, and thoroughly enjoyed by all year groups. Pupils had the opportunity to develop new skills, build confidence, and learn more about the positive impact of sport within the community.
We would like to thank Danny for his time, enthusiasm, and dedication. We look forward to working together again in the future.
In the afternoon our PTA oraganised an afternoon of activities based around colour including kite decorating and flying, tie dye and decorating buns. Thank you to them for a great afternoon.
