Have a look at what's happening in our school.
On Monday we had such an exciting day with Into Film in Rathlin’s RSPB Centre. We learned how to make our own storyboards and base our stories in specific genres and in different types of settings. And the best part… we got to watch ‘The Wild Robot!’ . Lots of tears shed… from pupils AND staff!
We had an absolutely fantastic day - thanks so much to the crew from INTO Film for facilitating such a great experience for our pupils
This month, as part of our forest school Friday, we used the outdoor area to explore language and look at things we might discover in a forest or outdoors in Irish. This was very useful as we then looked at some place names that include those words.
This week, our school proudly took part in Anti-Bullying Week 2025, which ran from Monday, 10th to Friday, 14th November. This year’s theme was ‘The Power for Good’ and it encouraged everyone in our community to stand together against bullying and to promote kindness, empathy, and inclusion.
To celebrate the week, we enjoyed a range of meaningful activities, including:
Whole-School Assembly – On Friday morning, we held a special assembly where pupils explored what bullying means, how to speak up safely, and the importance of showing respect in our words and actions.
Creative Workshop in Adobe Express –on Wednesday, we took part in a digital workshop using Adobe Express to design inspiring anti-bullying posters and messages. Pupils expressed their voices creatively and shared positive messages across the school.
Odd Socks Day – On Monday and Tuesday, everyone joined in by wearing odd socks to celebrate our differences and remind us that everyone is unique!
