  Well done to Conan in P4 for coming first in his age category in the art competition run by Ballycastle credit Union. 

  

• Anti-poverty Initiative by Causeway Coast and Glens

  ‘Where To Turn’ is an initiative of Causeway Coast and Glens Anti-Poverty Stakeholder Steering Group. The Steering Group is made up of foodbanks, advice centres, charities and relevant statutory organisations and was set up by Council during the pandemic to connect services and ensure a whole person approach to supporting people experiencing financial difficulty.

  

• Anti-bullying Week

  Today we celebrated anti-bullying week in school by wearing odd socks. In assembly, we looked at this year’s theme of 'Make A Noise About Bullying'. We also did some scenarios and considered what to do if you feel you are being bullied.

  

• Belfast Wren Boys Visit the School

  On Friday we welcomed the Belfast Wren Boys to school. They performed some songs and drama and told us all about the history of the Wren Boys in Ireland. 

  

• Wellbeing Day 6th Nov 2023

  We held our second wellbeing day of the year on Monday 6^th November. During the day, pupils continued to learn about what wellbeing is and the importance of mental health. We held several workshops including music, yoga and started to create our ‘wellbeing wall’. This is something we will develop as the year progresses.
